Doesnt work very well.

At least on iOS. Which I guess makes sense since its Google and Im sure they dont like apple/iOS all that much. Maybe Im being paranoid, but it worked great when I had a OnePlus 5, and now it keeps saying cant connect or will freeze. Im on the same network as before and with a new iPhone.

Awesome music and does not buffer or freez!???

Needs work

Google play itself is good. However an equalizer for this app would elevate this. Right now, there is no equalizer that will work with this format. Since I have an ios8 phone, ( big mistake) it is difficult to find third party apps to play music properly.

Wont play to Chromecast audio - still

Ive tried everything to get my Google music app to play through my Chromecast. I can hear the connection tone, but no songs will play from my library. Ive removed and reinstalled at least 5 times now. This app is worthless Update on 2/24/18 2 months later and no updates. What a surprise...

Cant play anything

I have all my CDs uploaded to Google Play, but I cant play them through this app. It is constantly stopping and cant make it through a single song.

Spotify is better by miles

I was a Spotify user for six years but due to life events I decided to save money and get YouTube red, and google play came free with my account so I had to give it an honest shot. So I canceled Spotify and used this for five months. I really wanted to like it, it only made sense to do it this way and minimize my bills. But last night I was thinking to myself, I’m financially stable now and I cannot stand this app so I promptly reactived my Spotify account. I feel that the stations available are overall disappointing. I have an issue with not being able to see a list view of the songs in a station and having to wait for a song to come around again eventually because I missed it before. The amount of stations available is also lackluster. And there is no audio quality adjustment nor equalizer. It’s a flat and basic app but it does hold a lot of potential. Though I doubt I’ll find that out personally. It’s nice to know that google can fail at something.

Bugs Don’t Allow You To Edit Playlists

The biggest problems with this app that renders it useless are the problems with editing playlists. If you try re-ordering songs on a list - it moves some other random song instead. Need to delete a song from a playlist? Too bad. It’ll delete the song above or below the one you actually wanted to remove. C’mon Google, get it together.

Mixed music

I really enjoy the mix of song genres

Very good service and app

I have been noticing a bug that results in my music playing at high pitch and speed until I close it and restart. I’m not sure what triggers the bad behavior, as I’ve been listening for an hour or more before it happens.

Good app SUPER GLITCHY

I love this app but it is too glitchy I’m thinking of moving to Apple or Spotify. Disappointed.

CarPlay freezes and locks up all audio apps

If GPM stops working on CarPlay it makes all other audio apps stop working. Sometimes it works for maybe two or three songs but it will eventually freeze. Audio will keep streaming but touch screen will not work. If I try and load up another audio app via CarPlay it will show the frozen GPM screen when tapping Now Playing. This forces me to change music through my phone and defeats the purpose of CarPlay. Customer service is none existent.

Solid music streaming option.

Only criticism is that with the last update it doesn’t work with my Apple car play anymore. A fix would be lovey.

Sluggish and Unoptimized

I think GPM is the best service out there. But the iOS iteration is pretty clunky. I have issues where songs in playlists vanish, or if I touch a song it keeps playing the one *below* it. Then I have to search for the song just to get it to play again. Navigating can be a chore. Animations and scrolling are sluggish, and there is *still* no good way to just focus on your personal Library (songs I’ve uploaded).

I expected this to be less buggy

I love the fact that I can access my songs from anywhere with Google Play Music, however this is diminished by the fact that whenever I’m connected to Bluetooth or chromecast, skipping songs is a nightmare, even with a fast internet connection. The app stutters and randomly pauses my music and sometimes skips more than one song. Also, when changing songs, it temporarily stops playing audio to the Bluetooth device even though the song is definitely playing. These functions work normally when using headphones or just playing on the phones built in speaker. So, overall, a useful app, but needs some fine tuning in Bluetooth, skipping, and smooth playback.

How can I listen to my music that I’ve downloaded on my iPhone

Help

I love it but I hate it

The app is great, it does everything I want it to do... when it works properly which it does not always do. I just got a new phone and since ive put in on this phone ive had nothing but problems. Every fews songs itll randomly pause or play/pause repeatedly. This didn’t happen on older versions but its so annoying

Thnx, now i could ditch ganna saavn

Now google play music is able to stream music like other stream music ... and can be monetize by showing ads, so we listeners don’t have to pay for stupid subscriptions. I am fi9 with ads

Features/Improvements I would like to see

Let us ‘like’ a song from the control center when we are not using the app; Have a sharing feature through iMessage; Let us see the full album cover in the app; Add more curated playlist options to the home menu; Fix the ‘recently searched’ bar, it keeps showing me the same five songs/things.
