Fix the app

Overall I love the app, but I just got an Apple Watch and wising I could use it there too. I would recommend this app for anyone who likes listening to music often.

Elements are extremely oversized making it hard to navigate (please take some lessons from Spotify). App is laggy and does not feel like something built for iOS. Additionally, playback is unreliable and will stop mid song.

Love that it gives a variety. You’re able to chose what You’d like to hear and customize it to Your liking.

Ive been using this app since it first came out and have always had great things to say about it until this past week. No matter my internet connection the app keeps having difficulty playing music and skips several songs to only have an error box open up saying that it Cant Play try again later. Please fix it!!!

I pay monthly, however this month I havent been receiving services. There is no help area for me to speak or reach out and get help. There is no contact area to get assistance. I havent had issues previous months, however recently Ive been irritated with commercials yet my subscription is paid. HELP PLEASE. MAKE IT EASIER FOR PATRONS TO RECEIVE ASSISTANCE.

I’ve been in touch with Google regarding my issue with my uploaded playlists on this app. Only 6 playlists out of over 200 contain art and music on either of my 2 iPhones . Yet, these exact same playlists are complete and playable on my iPad, MacBook, Windows laptop and Google Home Mini. In my case, this app does not play nice with iPhones. Very disappointed.

It was good but slow and didnt play what I wanted it to.

Play Music is and always will be the only music app I ever use. It’s always worked how it needs to and is simple to use, with great quality content. BUT, I don’t know if it’s just the iOS app, but it seems like it gets buggier after every update. I have a lot of problems when I’m trying to use the app with my google home. Most of the time it won’t even connect to it when I want to cast music. When I try to delete a song from a playlist, it instead deletes a different one that’s a couple songs up and the one I originally tried to delete stays there, and I can’t get rid of it. And something I noticed today, if I try to select ‘play next’ on a song while I’m listening to music, it stops the music completely and a whole other song from a completely different playlist is selected and shows up on the screen. AND now when I listen to a playlist on shuffle, it plays one song, and then the music stops after that and doesn’t continue playing the rest of the playlist. It seems like the more you try to fix something that doesn’t need fixing, the worse the app gets.

No matter what I’m listening to anytime I go into the app it freezes and stops my music. I’ve used Play Music flawlessly on Android for years and now with my iPhone 7 Plus is just doesn’t work right. I don’t understand how Google can get something so wrong with the resources they have. I love you Google but this needs to be fixed.

They need to take a page from Spotify and improve the app by making it seamless when it comes to switching apps on the iPhone. Currently, when I go from a google play to another app, the music is disrupted/skips. That doesnt happen with Spotify. Please make an update available where these issues are fixed. Thanks.

Been streaming and paying for google play since 2014, I had a fraud issue on my credit card which declined my 9.99 payment. I Called several times to get payment extension until my credit card arrived they basically said “too bad” and when my new card arrives I can update payment then my services will be restored. Thanks for making my transition to Spotify easier!

Crashes after 5secs of playing any song. Try to report bug and it crashes. Try to go to “HELP” and as it loads it crashes. This app used to be good and used to work. Now it’s the most atrocious thing I have ever seen. If I could give it negative stars like it deserves, I would.

Try to find your recently uploaded music: impossible; try to arrange your songs by title:impossible..... many common features you can’t find. Useless

I love this app

My main gripe would be that duplicates of almost every album in my library appear. Sometimes in multiples of 5. This makes my library crazy unorganized. There are also many instances where complete albums are split into 2 albums. Fix these long standing issues and I may give you guys another try. ( update ) Here we are almost a year later and the duplicate album issue is still there. Why, and how can they not have fixed this by now? I’ve read on some Google Official help forums where mods want to place the blame on apple. If that’s the case then why isn’t this an issue with any other music app? I’ve tried them all. I’m using the app only because I have a large music library tied to it. I’m not happy about it at all though. My customer satisfaction level on the app itself is 0.

I have 100mb available left on my phone and the app wont let me play any music now because "the device storage is full" which makes no sense because A) I still have room on my phone, and B) I can still listen to music on iTunes or Spotify even if my phone storage is full. Why does this happen and can you please fix it?

Does not play well with CarPlay and constantly freezes. Probably Apple is holding back some code from Google to make it work as well as their offering ? Much deeper catalog than Apple Music. CarPlay needs A-Z selection mode as opposed to the current scroll up and down...,takes about 5 minutes to get to Zappa....:-( PLEASE FIX !!!

Two issues: - music often pauses for about one second after eating it thumbs up - home screen is a bit confusing to navigate Otherwise good. - offline feature is nice - download playlist is useful - finding similar songs on radio works well

I switched over to google play music because I was told it was pretty good. I wanted to check it out myself so I downloaded it and switched from Spotify. So far I will say I like the music selection and the radio stations are great.. only one BIG problem.. the app randomly stops working. It’s happened a few times now where I’ll be getting in my car and waiting for the music to start playing an nothing happens. I pull up the app and try clicking a song and nothing. It just says it “can’t play..” I never had this issue with Spotify and I’m contemplating going back because when this app decides it just doesn’t want to work anymore I have to use my Spotify anyways to listen to music.. Ps.. it’s been a few hours now and I still can’t listen to music off the app.. not cool.
