Doesnt work properly with Ford audio via USB

I wanted to use this app as a replacement for iOS built in music player. On the phone itself it works ok but when I plug my iPhone to USB port in my Ford Focus I loose control over the app. It plays one second of each track and goes to the next one and another one etc. No way to stop this behaviour. Clicking within the app doesnt do anything. Even the pause button doesnt do anything. Pressing buttons on my steering wheel does not help either. Really disappointed...:(
