Music often stops when I open the UI

The music stops playing when I bring the app into the foreground after its been backgrounded for a while. I have to pause and play. Sometimes the track restarts from the beginning. Will raise this to 5 stars if fixed but comeon Google, looking at the history it appears maybe you need to rewrite the app with a different approach to code stability.

Hoping for the best now that youve merged with the YT Music product group. Youre teams need to go to burning man to fully unify.
