App needs update. Skips horribly!!!

I’ve used Google Play got quite a few years, and currently it’s the worse it’s ever been. It constantly stops playing or skips. It’s like having a scratched cd In the 90’s all over again. At first I thought it may have been the Bluetooth connection in my car but that’s not the case. I’m having the same problem In my other car which is a 2018. I hope this issue can be fixed soon.
