I switched to Play because both Apple and Spotify are incapable of integrating existing mp3 files without either losing them (Spotify) or replacing them with loosely matched alternate versions of songs from the streaming service (Apple). Google lets you upload 50k exact versions. Works flawlessly. It would be nice if the album sort would let you sort by artist, then album. The artist sort requires an extra click to drill down. Could be better.

Honestly google play music is the bees knees. You get a good music streaming service *and* ad free YouTube. The thing is that this app is just buggy as hell. Try editing your playlist and moving songs into just the right order...oops...the app says "lol naw but how bout dis" and just randomly mixes around the songs you just put in to place! Want to plug your phone into a sound system and walk away from it to work or perform some task? Guess what? The songs will randomly stop playing audio. Oh the track is still "playing," just not the audio. You have to go back to your phone and push "pause" then "play" to get it to pick up where it left off. These are stupid problems to have and have persisted through multiple updates! Get it fixed!

I used to use Apple Music but after finding this Im google music all the way!!! THANK YOU GOOGLE!!

Seems like nothing was really tested outside of ideal network condition. Constantly says song cant be played or says no search results for a few seconds before populating some pretty crappy results.

How can a music player app that cuts off songs after about three minutes make it out of testing???

I cant play any music on this app. Spotify works fine though, Im switching.

After the most recent update, songs are cutting off before the end, and if I try to fast forward to a specific part of the song it restarts it, even on content that I own.

Music stops randomly, unable to skip at times and the worse random play feature ever - repeats songs every 5-10 songs and it will not play all the songs in the playlist :/

I do hate the ads that Songza didnt have. But aside from that the thumbs up station (songs youve liked) never plays!!! It always has issues

I had the same thing on my android and it was great but I got a iPhone it works well with all my music and all that but its rather slow on my BRAND NEW iPhone 7 plus and it also is lacking the equalizer and bass boost setting if you are looking at this please add these and fix these. Also ADD THE EQUALIZER!!!

I just moved from Canada to Dominican Republic, and now the app gets stuck at the sign in page. I looked up help forums but they say to change your country in google wallet, which is o lay available in the US store so I cant get it. Guess Ill switch to Spotify until google figures it out

The new update makes the app freeze and stop playing as soon as you switch to a different screen.

App has problems when playing in background in "Downloaded Only" mode. Every time I start a song, and return to my homescreen, the aong will cut off and wont play until I go into Control Center and restart the song. It does the same when on the lockscreen as well, even though the songs are downloaded. I would also like to see support for Siri in the future, and better storage management. I would also like to see Google Play Music have a dedicated iMessage app where users are able to share their music with others.

lots of bugs with every update and needs an equalizer badly

When I play music and press the home button to do something else on my phone the music stops playing. Please fix it.

Like the types of mixes they put together. For Monday, or whatever night, Doze off-like that stuff

Playlist sorting is nonexistent.

No matter how many times I download the app, theres a bad cockroach of a bug that will stop your music saying "Cannot load song. Try again?" very often.

Constantly see warning "Cant sign in. Check connection", connection is fine, reboot didnt help. No way to get out of this loop
