Google Play Music App Reviews

This app is extremely helpful for me as someone who has a lot, and I mean a lot of music (last time I checked, I was at 42GB). To let me have all of my music stored on my phone without it taking up so much space, as well as being easy to use and edit tracks. However, there are some problems that Id like to see fixed so the app can be better. 1. Fix The Strange Skip To Next Track Sometimes, Ill be jamming out to one of my favorite songs in my entire collection when all of a sudden, it cuts to the next track before the original one finishes. Im not sure if this only happens on Data or one both Data and Wifi, but Id still like to see it fixed. 2. Add Mobile Editing The fact that I can edit a tracks metadata within the computer application is so helpful when I realize that I accidentally forgot to add something in, like an artist or a cover image. However, Id like to see this feature implemented in the app for more use as I mostly notice those while listening on my phone.

when i click off the app music just stops? have to go pause and play it two or three times to get it to stay on... and thats per song. been using this app for two years to play have the same music on both my apple and android devices so please fix this problem

The interface and the curated playlists are a few levels above those on Spotify and the other services.

App has a lot of potential main things that needs fixed is convenience when making a playlist. You cant add more than one song or album to a playlist at a time. Would be so much better if there was a feature to select multiple different songs at once. Also it is difficult to download a single song for offline listening needs to be an option to download a single song without rest if album

The app is buggy and randomly stops playing music. Disappointing from Google.

Navigation is terrible. I get you want to push your own services, but at least make it convenient for users to get to their own music. The Artists/Albums/Playlists/Etc menu should be the constant menu at the bottom or top. Not this other non-sense you have there now. Albums sometimes appear twice, which would just be annoying, but when you download the album, it takes up twice the storage space. You cant tag more than one genre to an album. Its slow. It causes my ipad to heat up. It has never heated for anything else before, and it is just playing music...

Never works!! So frustrating!!!

Not sure why but the latest update has just compounded the issues with the app - tracks are skipping 1-2 minutes early, stopping randomly, and just make using the app a crapshoot. Wish theyd fix it!

Playlist is completely broken, when i remove a song from playlist, sometimes it remove the song above, sometimes remove it everywhere, even when I went into the album, that song is no where to find, even in search

I have an iPhone and tried iTunes but Ive had google play since it came out I love it

..A few glitches here and there. But it still remains my goto app for music. I do wish they add Apple Watch support and Nike Running Club support ...

I think Google is underrated compared to Spotify and Apple Music. The feature which is sticking out are the excellent stations and playlist taylored to the time of day, weather and mood.

Most recent update fixed a lot of the major bugs and weirdness. But theres still problems with playlists and explicit songs Deleting a song from a playlist often doesnt work; another song above/below the one you choose gets deleted instead When playing explicit lyrics music youve added but havent downloaded to the phone, the app will sometimes stream the clean version (like its controlled by your Mom). Once this happens it seems impossible to reset to the proper version... who the heck wants to hear 2 Chainz clean? Shouldnt the app treat the user as an adult by default?

Good grief, more often than not updates break apps. If there are bugs bad enough to warrant squashing (and who really believes thats the real reason anyway; *ahem* Google Ads), at least make sure youre not breeding a ton more!! Since this latest fail of an update, Google has sent me back to rival apps because I cant stand te constant disconnects, dropped songs, hung processes, etc., etc. Just leave s**t alone when it works, you d***b***es!

This app crashes non stop cant even enjoy the music, it would be better without the constant crashing

I love this app. It lets you play whatever song you want at anytime which is amazing considering some people pay 10 bucks a month for Apple Music or Spotify premium.

Ive been trying non stop to enter the app but the app dosent let me even listen to anything it dosent let my use it with my acount

Add the option to (block explicit songs in radio) in the main user interface instead of only being under settings. If there is artist specific playlists I havent found any! Please make it easier to find or add it.

Since the last update it takes forever to download only one song
