App works great but desperately needs carplay support. Please add this. I want to ditch apples awful music app. The ads are really depressing. Can you get uplifting sponsors and not the social justice crap that Ill never donate to?

I discover great tunes here that I do not find anywhere else. Particularly like the international variety available.

The Horrible user interface negates the Great music library. Search for an album and all you see are the songs in your library. If you know the name of a song youre good otherwise give up. What a waste of a wonderful library.

Playback usually stops working every 5th or 6th time I try to play something after pausing. I have to force quit this app multiple times a day. Also, even after all these years, the design is horrendous. Sure its ugly. But the real issue is this: its a borderline accessibility issue since every little action demands 14 taps on tiny little circles or monochromatic icons. And why is album artwork taking up 90% of the screen when 70% would mean we can actually see what were tapping? I hope developers take a gander at competitors. I have to assume that these design problems has to do with Google having some kind of design standard (or substandard!) across their apps and that changing it is like redirecting a carrier fleet. Still: its been years.

The shuffle feature constantly plays songs it already played with songs that have not already played. But the idea of this music app is great.

Great and cheaper than Apple Music

I am a big fan of google. I use almost all the apps google has available for iPhone in place of apples apps. But to be honest Im really starting to hate Play Music. This is the only music subscription I have and I used to take great pride in using it but, for a long time now, there have been some issues that make listening to my favourite songs a real hassle. 1) there is an issue with playback. If Im listening to music from a playlist and I pause a song, when I press play it wont play. This forces me to either skip the song and go back (which will allow it to play again) or I have to unlock my phone, open the app and press play and pause several timds before it actually starts to play again. 2) Whenever I skip a song, the next song doesnt play. I wouldnt say that this is a streaming issue because this happens to playlists I have downloaded to my phone and/or while I am on WiFi. In the instance in which my phone is not on my person (ex. I am listening to music from a Bluetooth speaker or wireless headphones while working out) this forces me to keep skipping until another song plays. I love Google and it makes me sad to have one my most used apps fail me like this. Please fix it soon. ------------------------------------------- STILL NOT FIXED When I saw the update, I was excited. I had the expectations that everything that I rightly complained about would be fixed bit it wasnt. Albeit the playback issues are somewhat resolved, the issues with skipping songs and not having the next song there are still ever present.

When I am listening to music, more often than not google play music will more or less freeze and not play the track. I have to quickly skip forward a track then skip back immediately to the track it froze on. Its really annoying and it also does this on downloaded music. Ive already deleted the app and restarted the phone, reinstalled the app, re download music and it still has this problem. Huge annoying flaw that ruins the experience

The cloud storage is awesome. 50,000 free uploads! Most wont even scratch the surface. The only negative is the free radio service is not child friendly. Artwork is raunchier then most. Its a bit buggy. It drains battery sometimes and glitches. Yet the web app using a desktop never glitches.

This is a very good app, but every time I play a song, it just said that device storage is full. The last time I checked it was that it wasnt full at all, but it still wouldnt let me play. Maybe it needs to be updated to fix this problem. Please fix the app please.

Please fix input delay, takes too long for tracks to start, its issues like this that make people switch to the competition, Google, you have a great app, take care of it or have apple to make it work perfectly on its platform, IMPUT DELAY, SONGS TAKE TOO LONG TO START WHEN SELECTED!!!!!

For the most part, I havent had any issue with google music, either the app or the program. It has always just kinda worked. However, recently Ive noticed a bug with the iOS app specifically that displayed the same album multiple times. The web app doesnt have the second album, only the iOS one. Its weird because the last time I fixed that it was a tagging error that was easy enough but now there are two copies of the same album being displayed, but only on my phone. Weird.

This app works pretty good. But it had froze once but other than that it has worked good.

I love the service but the app has always just been ok. It has actually gotten worse recently. I think they are trying to make it use a more standard iOS interface with the buttons across the bottom but they kept the side drawer as well. The side drawer in mow pretty much empty so it make little sense being there. Wish it had podcast support. Voice search would be really nice. Working with Chromecast is HUGE! I love to stream to my TV so easily.

This app is terrible! It randomly stops playing in sequence. Meaning it wont play the next song. And when you go to press play, it doesnt play. Tidal is much better
