The app has degraded quickly. Looks Google is gearing up to close the music service soon and switch over to YouTube music. Here are some problems: 1. Music stops randomly. For no apparent reason sometimes. 2. Music stops if switching app. 3. Music stops if maps (google map) starts or end or speak. 4. Music stops if Bluetooth connects. The layout is generally terrible to search and find playlists and genre. Laggy and very slow in general. I’m quite disappointed and want a refund.

Offline support on the iWatch is a must have

This app used to be great! Within the last year it just keeps getting worse & worse. Way toooo many bugs! & Im a paying customer! Im gonna switch to a different service very soon if its not fixed. I thought a company like google would actually take care of their customers and fix their app. Not worth my money anymore.

Having enjoyed this app for a long time, suddenly, it can no longer connect to ChromeCast (all other apps do, so it’s not the ChromeCast that’s the problem). I wouldn’t be so annoyed if it wasn’t for the fact that it’s a Google service that doesn’t get along with a Google device.

Hate the app letter boxing. If I’m paying for Google Music, I need Google to update and keep up with the developments on iOS. They had months to do this and they haven’t yet.

Google play is my choice app for music. I have invested time and money in this app. Ive built a library of over 7,000 sounds buy yet u cant even play a song the entire way though without it stopping. It doesnt matter if Im streaming it or it is in my library. It always pauses. This app is a waste of money. Stay away at all costs you will be disappointed with the quality of this application.

i love using google play music, but when i add songs to my library on my phone or laptop, they wont show up on the other device and i have to search the songs again and add them again, sometimes three or four times. when creating a playlist, songs were added in duplicates and when i tried to delete the duplicates, it deleted all of the songs or random songs i hadn’t selected.

Love the free storage for up to 50,000 songs, but what’s the point if they won’t all play? Very glitchy, few songs just wouldn’t play, sometimes they would play and then the audio would stop half way(still showing the song playing), even when downloaded and in offline mode.

Is this ever gunna be updated to support iPhone X ? Been quite a while now....many other google apps updated....

I was looking for the podcast feature that exists in the Android version of the software but very disappointed to find it does not have it!

Downloading playlists doesn’t work. Just gets stuck and I have plenty of room

Too many bugs and crashes. The support team couldn’t care less about the feedbacks.

I will echo the sentiments of other reviewers as my experience has been the same. The app pauses music unnecessarily and freezes several times a day requiring a restart of the app. Come on Google, I know you can do better than this.

Love this music service! On the Android app you can rearrange songs in the queue but you cant on the iOS app. Thats my only complaint, but if they implement it this app is totally 5 stars
