I use this as my sole music source - switched from Spotify a few years ago. The app is great, except it’s not optimized for the iPhone X yet. I am thankful, however, that I am able to change songs from the command center. As soon as it’s optimized for the X I’ll go back to 5 stars. And 3D Touch would be cool too. It’s also been adding random songs to my playlist queue- Apparently Sleeping With Sirens is the U2 of Google Music ?

I think Google Play Music is okay but I dont like how you cant play music while on another app. I also dont like when you go to another think on your phone and you go back to the app and it glitches and stops playing your music. But I like it because there is different playlists for each day with different artists everyday.

This app is awful. Pauses my music or just doesn’t play. Crashes alot and extremely frustrating. Please google, fix.

They’ve had plenty of time to update for the X... understandable for a smaller software company, not someone like google. Their quality continues to deteriorate. Everyone should rate 1 star until they update. Not just music but all google products.

i love google play music: it has a great selection of music and to be honest, i prefer this service more than spotify. it has a better selection of songs and artists and when paired with youtube music (thanks to the youtube red subscription), it’s unstoppable. except, the music is. it stops, even when the songs are downloaded to my phone. it’s the only real problem for me, but it’s super annoying. great service, but crappy at best app.

Im using various apple devices and google music keeps losing chromecast and often cant even see them on my network You tube works better so its thus app...

The cost sharing aspect of this app is what made me start using it with friends but ever since then it is constantly crashing and pausing. It will pause a song halfway through and the app will suddenly close. Considering it’s designed by google I expected it to at least function!

Spotify is definitely worth $9.99 because it has large collection and great playlists. Google play music playlists are pale and clumsy. They are okay but not great.

This app crashes and it stripped me of all my music that was downloaded and that was downloading and that’s not far at all that’s not right and this app crashes and needs to be fixed and updated

It keeps freezing and pauses my music even if it is offline it is annoying please fix

The music stop playing at random moment (on Wifi and LTE) and the app is laggy af

Been dealing with this problem the entirety of using this app. It used to work better but since iOS11 things have gone downhill. Switching between apps or even going to the home screen causes the music to pause or just out right stop. It lags out and freezes intermittently. I didn’t think it could get any worse than it was, boy was I wrong. I get that google and Apple are competitors, but I’m not going to pay for several music streaming services when google play includes YouTube red. Debating just switching back to android solely over my issues with this app

I just switch from Spotify to Google Music and honestly considering on going back to Spotify. App is too buggy needs a lot of work.

If you want to compete with iTunes and Spotify fix the way the app feels . It feels sluggish and a dark mode should be added like Spotify. And fix on the iPhone X looks terrible . I am currently paying for premium I expect premium on iOS .

Horrible UI for my iphone, lots of no plays and bugs searching for artists. Very disappointed

Close the app? Open another app? Look at a message? It stops playing. For everything. The app has become almost unusable. I loved it on my android but the devs cant seem to fix the iOS problems. Extreme lag, closes and stops the songs for no reason. Ill be unsubscribing to Google play music because the app is so terrible. Maybe its apples fault and is caused by the new updates, but the devs need to get it together. Ive been waiting months for them to fix the issue and its only gotten worse. Seriously my dudes. Fix it and Ill come back.
