Recent covert from Spotify. Love the content and features of google play. However would like to see some aspects of Spotify include on future models of google play including the social media like features having the ability to follow artists and fellow users. I also love seeing the stream counts of songs.

I mainly use this to play my downloaded files while Im offline. This version and the last will pause a few seconds in to a song and the new version seems to skip to the next song randomly. Pressing the power button to turn off the screen also seems to pause the song. I hope this gets fixed soon. This app has been reasonably good for a while but its unusable for me now.

Finally Google has added Carplay support! Its a bit buggy though. Some UI elements arent displaying correctly across the top but Im sure theyll fix it over time. It may be a staged rollout however so dont shoot the messenger.

Heres what I mean by this. The app is simple because it allows you to keep your same music and playlists on one service that can be opened on numerous devices. What you upload on your laptop, you can easily play moments later on your cell phone or tablet. However, the fact that you cannot rearrange songs within a specific playlist, the rating I have to give this is 3 stars. I love that you can stream music on here and you can download playlists so you can play music on the subway without requiring data; but because I dont have the option to rearrange the songs in a playlist it brings it down.

Im liking the latest updates, specially the integration with the iPhone music widget (now I dont have to open this app to listen to my music, I just have to open the music widget and hit play and voila!) One thing that Ive been waiting this app to have is landscape mode, I use my phone with a magnetic vent holder and is kinda difficult to control this app while driving because everything is sideways. I hope this will come soon in future updates, thank!!

Simply Awesome....

Stops streaming for no reason, ads after the first track and, worst of all, duplicates everywhere in your library. The more you use it, the more duplicates. This problem is reported all over the Internet for years. No one cares at Google.

The sound quality is garbage compared to Spotify because Spotify has a built in EQ. Used google music for a long time when I had android, but immediately switched to Spotify once I got iPhone

You cant even edit playlist name... bug fixes? Nothing has been fixed playback still awful.. Artwork??? Its zoom too much. Worst google app ever.

The output on the high quality setting is simply unparalleled and soars above that of Apple Music. Only advantage of apple music is a better library, but the ability to upload your entire library to google as an included feature along with YouTube red for unlimited customers makes Google Play Music one of the most compelling options out there, but it also makes integration with iOS an absolute must! This version is simply not ready for primetime. Full of bugs... Delayed awaiting of tracks, multiple hangups when shifting through several tracks, just poorly responsive. Does not feel as light on iOS as it does on android, and that will sadly hamper its potential. 7/19/17 latest update shows more promise. Ive already replaced the default apple music with Google play music on my dock as the sound quality is so much better, and now the app feels much more responsive! Thanks to the dev team

This is apparently the only version of this app across any platform that doesnt support podcasts.

Ever since the new update it skips songs and says cannot play at this moment.

It does what I want and gives me youtube red for free. Uploading my own music gave me some issue with album art vanishing but meh

While Spotify, Amazon music and Pandora all have Apple car play support Google music app doesnt support car play

My personal MP3s stopped working. Do not use. Not reliable.

Love that it suggests other albums for me to listen to.
