Updated the phone to iOS 11 now I can’t control it from the lock screen.

It would be nice if the volume wouldn’t fluctuate to either being too low or too loud.

I like the exposure to new music and different genres

Cant tell you how many songs it skips. So annoying and still has not been fixed. Seems to be mainly on cellular data

Explain to me Developers why you make an app that’s going to make Apple Music look like a Goddess? Today I got so frustrated when I try to organize my songs in my playlist (since you don’t have an alphabetical order button or artist) I set the songs all up in order and the second I hit done they all get shuffled and out of place. Fix these tiny bugs or I should just come and make an app by myself for a multi-billion dollar company put more effort into your apps I’m not paying 15$ a month for some no good crappy app. Please get your act together or I might as well change to Apple Music ? In the end the app has all the music I want but it’s the minor bugs that make it horrific.

I hate this app. Songza was way better. Most of my favourite playlists didnt get imported b/c you just dont have them, the colour scheme is hideously unappealingly, I feel like Im being spied on & my privacy is being invaded b/c the app is sending my profile info to google (you dont need that info for me to listen to music!!!!), and the ads are annoying & intrusive!! Negative stars!!!

I love google play music, it is a great system to listen to music from. But the app is only okay. It doesn’t connect with the music you put on if you are using it online. So your playlists are different for example from the app to opening it online. And then my music is always stopping even though it says that it is playing, so I have to go back and press pause then play again. Usually happens when I reopen the app or unlocking my phone. It is very annoying. Also, it is hard to search for music and go back to the music list you had open.

Used this product for more then a couple of years and I’ve used it on Android and IOS and is still my favorite music streaming application. Currently running on IOS now and I’m having issues with the application randomly pausing my music. Never had this issue before with previous updates. Still a pretty good application to stream music. Would recommend.

If this app doesn’t get fixed and updated soon I’m switching to Spotify. YouTube Red is the only thing keeping me on here. How is this app so laggy when all the other google apps work well and this one is stuck way behind. Get your app together. Paying customers are getting frustrated!!

App does not have an option to share my personal playlists, This option is present on the android version of the App.

applications command center and lock screen controls stop working after a while, and require a restart to fix. you cant change music volume once this happens as well, which has been annoying. this only started happening with iOS11. however compared to the competition, its still by far the best. offer support for unlimited music as well as the ability to upload your own mp3s in a mixed library. radio stations are fantastic, and its just so great. that bug needs to be fixed though

I love this app, but every time I’m playing music, offline or streaming from online, and I unlock my phone it pauses and the app totally restarts. It’s progressively gotten worse. It used to do it sometimes and now it’s consistently every single time I unlock my phone or open the app. Extremely frustrating. And especially because I pay $14 a month for the family plan. Please fix soon or I’ll start giving apple my money and cancel my service with google. -iPhone 6 plus iOS 10.

I started using Google Play Music when it originally launched on Android OS. I have loved it and have continued to use it after switching to an iOS devices. I’ve had a few complaints with the iOS app from the start: - I can’t rearrange the play order like I could on Android - Lack of an option to set as primary music playing app... that way when I connect to my car’s Bluetooth it won’t launch Apple Music - it has been buggy playing songs and randomly skipping to the next song - songs randomly start 20 seconds in - even with songs that are downloaded to my device won’t load sometimes (I have to skip ahead a few songs and come back...sometimes several times) Since the iOS 11 update, what has frustrated me the most and has me considering making a switch to Apple Music: - I can no longer control my music from the lock screen - I can no longer control my music via Bluetooth (play/pause/skip) Other than those issues, I’ve loved the service. Please bring the app up to the quality it should be. Live up to the Google brand!

Something has happened since upgrade to iOS 11 upgrade. The UI has huge pauses and becomes completely unresponsive for ten ish seconds at a time. At least comes back but stalls again. Once you get it playing a playlist it’s fine. I don’t know though if this is your app or the OS update though.

It wont let me search things and when I do it plays the wrong song and when it does play the right song its when I did not want it to play this stupid app Im gonna delete it now until u fix the problems that come with the app!!!?????????

Like the app but for some reason album/song additions to my library dont sync to my account. When I check on desktop or load my account on another iOS device the additions arent there.

This app has caused me to pay for a one month for Apple Music. Its gotten pretty bad lately. Lockscreen widget keeps disappearing after like 3 skips. App keeps saying it cant play the song right now but then when i click try again it work fine? Like its just really annoying and buggy. I wanna keep my all access pass for the YouTube red, but Im not gonna keep putting up with this.

This app is completely useless most of the time. When not connected to the internet it will stop playing as soon as I go to the home screen. It randomly stops playing when my phone is locked. I pretty much have to have the app open with my phone unlocked in order to reliably use it.
