Please fix! Pauses when opening apps or web surfing. Its annoying. Used to be great. I have no idea what happened.

I love this app. Now I could listen to all my favorite songs while my phone is off.

Love the service but the app is extremely glitchy when it comes to playback of songs. This should be the first priority of things to get right as it is a music streaming app. Please fix this soon.

Last Added doesn’t update anymore, hasn’t been updated to support iPhone X, and force closes a lot

Protip: If your music app has a bug that prevents music from being removed from the users library your app shouldnt be pushed to production. I figured to try this app for the free trial. Sound quality is good enough. But bugs like this make it very difficult to switch from apple music.

I love play music. I have used it for years on my Android phone and was very happy to see the service is available for iPhone. It seems to work well. The things I would change are optimization for the iPhone X and also I use the Audi MMI system in my car and would like to have the capability to scrub through a song using the cars controls. I dont want to switch to Apple music because I have my entire library with Google and wouldnt want to loose it. Anyways if youre looking to try out play music the subscribe to YouTube red and get full access to play music. I love this apps layout. I have used Apple music in the past and I just cant find wat I want fast enough. But the material design interface is great for getting in and getting out. Plus youre able to log into your Google account from anywhere and access your library and stream.

Great service, buggy app with crashes and unexpected behavior. No updates since launch of iPhone X, so it looks and runs horribly

As many others have pointed out... the app is trash. It needs so many things like a widget. Also it randomly will not play tracks and skips whether or not u have a great connection. PLEASE update the app soon and give us a better user experience

A great service with an awful app for iOS. Plays the wrong music, randomly stops, sometimes crashes altogether. Its a shame because the Google music service as a whole is great.

The app itself is so buggy. It used to be more stable but since iOS 11 I think it has started to bug out even more. Music stops randomly and the app is super sluggish too.

I jumped into Play Music from the green app after 5 years. The catalogs were identical for my tastes and better in some respects than the competitors, add in YT Red and it was a no brainer. Especially since Google acquired my favorite app for discovering music (Songza) and it shows in how accurate their suggestions are. If you’re into any obscure music, this app is the one you want. However the app itself is straight abysmal. The songs stop playing any time you change apps or sometimes without any interaction. The scrolling and clicking is laggy, the layout is confusing at best, the songs take forever to start playing, gapless playback isn’t an option, and even without any downloaded music it’s one of the biggest apps on my phone And lastly, nobody you know uses it. Good luck sharing playlists. Goodbye linking friends to new albums. Forget your ability to see what your friends are listening to. I haven’t given up, but it seems like they have. Gonna use it till the trial expires and re-evaluate though.

Staying one star til it’s optimized for iPhone X. Been a month, no excuse.

Still can’t pause or skip songs using the control center or lock screen in iOS 11. Please fix!! Otherwise it’s a good service. The iPhone app leaves much to be desired, however.

Screen doesn’t fit the iPhone X

Keeps crashing after updating to new I0S. Music stops or if you leave app to ready a text music stops. Please fix

I’m sick and tired of the app now. I used to like it and now I’m willing to switch. I’m in a middle of a song and it keeps stopping. The songs downloaded. Why is it stopping? Fix it soon or you’ve lost another customer. I’d rather pay an extra few bucks for an app that actually works.

I love this app but the most frustrating thing is that when album art is updated or changed it will delete it from your library. Please address this issue otherwise Ill be switching services.
