Music selection is great, and good value for the cost, however, Google does not make a dedicated effort to remove bugs and issues. Explicit language filtering barely works. Also, if you need to reset app, there is no easy way to redownload your previously downloaded songs. You have to redownload them all manually if you want them to be available offline.

This app is dope! The only thing missing are podcasts. All play music platforms should have this same format

Very good

I really love being able to upload your own music. It works. The only problem is that there are visual glitches all over the place. There are duplicate albums that are consider the same and play at the same time. Also the home page is rife with degrading images. Suggesting radio for garbage artist with garbage album art and pics. There should be a way to block home page suggestions to just the generic ones rather then the custom made ones. For a person who listens to soundtracks for movie why would I want to see deplorable art work. Also when downloading some of my music for offline it misinterprets the music size. It say 1gb for a small album but only take 200mb on my phone. You got a lot of bugs to fix along with family friendly content filters that need to be implemented.

As others have said, the app sometimes takes forever to start playing a song. Other times, it stops playing an album midway through a track, never playing to the end of the album. This is even on downloaded music! Please fix! I love Google, and love my iPhone. Cant we all just get along??

A Dark UI is needed desperately! Other than that this App is great! Thank you.

Love the app and service. Would REALLY like a landscape mode. Not sure why all these music apps dont have a landscape mode. I use my Google maps while driving in landscape mode and its super annoying when I switch back to my music app and its the wrong orientation.

I have noticed over the recent updates that there is an unusual lag when loading songs I select or even searching for songs even though I have very good internet speeds. Please fix this because its quite frustrating to have to wait for 5-10 seconds before a song starts and wait for 5-10 seconds for a song to show up on the list on my iPhone when its blazing fast on my Samsung Note5. I dont know if its Apple to blame or just a software bug but please fix this. Otherwise, as always : great and unrivaled service! Thanks ??

I like the features that Google offers, but the app needs a lot of work. I think it needs to be redesigned honestly. The interface just seems blocky compared to Spotify and Apple Music. It needs a more modern approach like what Spotify and Pandora are using. Next, please make your queue functionality exactly like Spotifys. Spotify is the only music streaming service that offers a perfect queue. I dont want to have "play next" or anything like that. I want to simply have an empty queue with only the songs Ive added to it. I also want to be able to rearrange the queue any way I want with those songs. I dont like that I have to see a lot of songs in my queue that are up next that I havent personally added. Play Music is a great value, but just needs some perfecting to get on Spotifys level in my opinion.

This app has degraded the greatness of what used to be Songza (before google acquired it). All of Songzas cool curated playlists are still there, but very little has been done to expand and improve upon them. There are a lot of features missing that make this less user friendly. If a song is done playing and I didnt get a chance to rate it, the app doesnt allow me to like/dislike songs in my recently played list. This is a major issue for me, as well as many others who have complained about this online. I do like how it auto-generates a playlist of all your liked tracks, but otherwise the app is lacking and its interface is not that easy to navigate.

This app is awful. I cant even play the songs I clicked on. It will just go to a different song. The only thing thats good about this app is that every song is free.

Google Play Music is the best music service, as far as Im concerned.

Ive used Spotify for years and saw that Google Play Music had a special 4-month trial. After about two days into that 120 month trial, I will absolutely not be continuing. This app has a lag to it that Ive never experienced with Spotify. The app isnt responsive. You hit next and it takes seconds to change and sometimes doesnt work. Or the image will change to the next song, but the app will continue to play a different one. Its extremely frustrating and I would never pay $10/month for this when I get the same from Spotify or Apple Music with better responsiveness. Im not married to Spotify, but I will probably only give Google Play Music a week more before going back. Also, if anyone uses the Google Voice app, the slowness and lack of responsiveness you find on Google Play Music is already familiar. Guess I wont ever be buying an Android!

I used both Apple Music and Google Play Music. For music streaming Apple Music is way better to discover new releases for the genre a user listens to, Apple Music has a better UI. Better curation on Apple Music. Google play looks so cheap and bland. Like they didnt really think it through. Google play needs a face lift and needs to integrate Youtube Music into one app. Only reason Im staying with Google Play is because it has a lot of the songs I get on Apple Music and because of YouTube Red, otherwise I would be using Apple Music.

The Ads are out of control and are way to long!

This app has saved me money and storage with no longer having to buy the latest songs. However, recently on the mobile app if I pause a song and then click play it will sometimes randomly play a full add while the song is still playing. Can you fix this?

Its a good app, but when I tried to listen to a book podcast it kept saying that it was "unable to access" and it wasnt able to open the podcast. I was a pretty disappointed since that was the only reason I got this app...

Frequent crash, duplicate album cover, bad ui. please fix it as like google photo app.
