I have not listened to this app once with out it crashing. "Cant play right now, try again later" I would never pay for the free version. Spotify it is

You guys, this is truly awful and it makes me sad. I loved Songza, its how I discovered a lot of new music and stumbled back across old favourites - but this really is the worst. Not at all similar in format, the genres have the same names but different content, its difficult to navigate ..and what music is there just sucks!! Please, please just bring back Songza. Slap the Google logo on it if you want, but it was the best app for music bar none. I deleted this one twice - I tried it once after the Songza merger and got rid of it in disgust, then came back a few months later when I got sick of 8tracks. This is still terrible, and i cant stand having it on my phone TBH

With the latest update the app lags way more than it used to. Please fix asap!!!

I hate that Google bought Songza and made it google play music! They forced me to make a gmail account so I could listen to music!!! I was fine with only having a hotmail account now I have two email accounts! But the music is ok dont see the difference.

I stopped using spotify because the app would always break. This one is reliable and, although it doesnt have as good recommended playlists, works wonderfully.

Was a daily user of Songza - have deleted this as it is NOT an equivalent app. The quality of the Afro-Portugese music on Songza was greatly superior.

Google play music is terrible! There are way too many ads and the playlists dont have a great selection. Songza was so much better!

Worst app logo ever I honestly thought it was an error! And to think if you wanted a job at Google you would have to be a "genius" ha ha ha should have paid someone on ffiver to do a better one

Kinda sad about the fact that they put publicities in the middle of the list of music... I used to listen to Songza (very angry cause they dont exist anymore) and they only had publicities right before we start to listen to the list... Anyways, just bring back Songza and everybodies gonna be happy!

I hate this app. Its 95% adds and it freezes most of the time. Hate it with a passion

The service itself is good, but the app is only so-so. Browsing music is annoying and slow, too much interaction needed to do anything. Lot of garbage in search results. Recommend function isnt great, very repetitive and seems to group music by times, start a radio with a 90s song and youll never hear a song from another decade.

Why isnt it possible anymore to browse the top and the new albums by genre? For me its 1 star down :( Battery drain and data compression on 3G still not the best. The music service is the best. Got rid of wimp and spotify. The app could drain a bit less battery and transfer less data when not on wifi. Otherwise, very good!

Offline music is gone on app sign out. Every album needs to be re-downloaded manually. Login to app not possible without network. It is enough to kill the app and it signs out removing the offline files. There was no issue with previous version.

Listen now view is broken since the last update - please fix.

Totally the worst UI in the world. And where are tematic playlist e.g. "Chilling Sunday" or "Morning Jazz"?
