Google Play Music App Reviews

Ive been using Spotify and Google music at the same time because both had trials. Google music crashes frequently while in the background (I have an iPhone 6s+ so this is unacceptable). The interface is laggy, clearly just the web view. I would much prefer a list view instead of tile view.

Great radio, gets to know you if you take advantage of uploading you music library to the Google Play cloud. Easy way to access my library of music on any computer. Great product.

Been paying for this for years and will have a very hard time ever switching to anything else!

I absolutely love google play music, however, I am a dev and I also am a brand advocate for several different device manufacturers and I will only use them for a few months at a time, this creates a huge issue with my subscription due to the amount of devices you can have registered and you can only delete so many per year :( Sadly I may have to switch to another streaming service because of it :(. Ive been loving the all access subscription though! Got it as soon as it launched!

Great app and great sound. I would like to give songs a thumbs up or down from the lock screen. Please enable this. Also, too many taps to get back to home screen. Otherwise great interface. Clear and sensible.

Crashes way too often since latest update. Like every hour or so I have to reopen it. Update:still crashing insanely too much for a paid subscription app. Update 5/5/16: crashing more and more often. Great update " to fix some crashes" what worked perfectly now crashes constantly. Going to cancel the service.

awesome app, amazing in every way. however, the new update makes the app look like a slice of pizza and i do not like it

This is an amazing app it works so well.its like having the music downloaded on my phone but this is free and much better

Extremely disappointing.

As much voice integration as you can add would be greatly appreciated for driving situations. At minimum, searching by voice would be wonderful. Can you also add 3D touch support to the icon that allows users to shuffle their library without going into the app? Thanks!

They said it would be like songza. but its not, Im so disappointed! so after searching for apps like songza, I came across JANGO!! JANGO is just as good as Songza, if not, better! you should check it out! you wont regret it!

The hey said this would be the same experience as Songza but it is not even close. There is no "moods" list which was my favorite part of Songza. Not nearly the selection Songza had... Really disappointed.

Took over Songza and replaced it with crap. Quits playing soon after starting. Cant restart it. Its just crap. I was considering a subscription, but no way Im paying for this.

I like the app and the free music back up is awesome. It is a little frustrating trying to kick off playlists though. My experience so far has been that it works successfully on the first try about 70% of the time- not a great success rate. Hoping this can be worked out as time goes on.

I just knew when Songza announced that Google was taking over I was going to hate the new app! Google play music crashes, it doesnt load playlists, and it took away the station that helped me fall asleep at night. Many of my playlist that were saved have disappeared. There was a wider selection of music for mood on songza. Not to mention the layout for Google play music is hideous compared to songza. I will be uninstalling this piece of crap app! Piss off Google!

Last time I did this an update was released that fixed it. Im still having issues with my thumbs up playlist maybe 20% of my own collection, including songs Ive purchased from google, are unplayable in that list. theyre greyed out and as a result I never hear them anymore. Its kind of ridiculous it seems like it WAS fixed but it has now become an issue again, if its fixed again Im never updating just so I dont have to deal with this.
