Works great on my Samsung device but on iPad it really sucks, crashing within a few seconds after opening the app...it’s also really slow.

I really like it but it can’t play one specific song which I want sometimes ...??????

I am new to Google Play Music, however I am absolutely enjoying it. I love the vast selection of music. I am also liking the addition of YouTube Red to the subscription.

Great app, works pretty well. I wish it had google podcasts though. Google, please make an Apple watch app that you can download music on. I dont want to have to buy songs from Apple just to download it on my watch.

- NO LANDSCAPE MODE? There is no landscape mode on my iPhone 6+. This means I can’t see the name of the whole song I am listening to. So for example... if a song is called “Yadda Yadda Yadda (feat. Blablabla)” all I will see is “Yadda Yadda Yadda (feat. Bl)” - NOTIFICATIONS STOP THE MUSIC If I get a text or notification the music stops and I have to hit play again. - SEARCHING IS DIFFICULT When searching for a song or album, make sure to hit enter because for me the song or album I search for hasn’t shown up in the list until I hit enter. - NO SHUFFLE? Does anybody know how to shuffle music? That should be easy. - CANT ACTUALLY BLOCK EXPLICIT MUSIC There is an option in settings to block explicit songs. It doesn’t work. - Can’t figure out how to add to que. - song stops if you switch to another app. - USES 51mb OF SPACE This app takes up one more megabits than Spotify so I would recommend Spotify because all of the features above work on Spotify except the explicit lyrics. Just sayin.

I’ve been using this app for a couple of years now and it was amazing. Nowadays, music will stop for no reason when I open different apps. When I go to check the music, it’s still playing. This bug is my only complaint. Other than that, I love it! I love the layout when it comes to the homepage, giving me recommendations and what’s new. I hope this bug gets fixed, only then will it get a 5 star review.

I like the fact that’s I can watch YouTube commercial free with my subscription and I can find a wide variety of old school and underground songs that I noticed are not available on iTunes and Tidal. I do which the song credits were included and the names of the featured artists were not cut off. Just have it scroll across! Overall I have been using Play Music for about three to four years and I have not found any issues.

I love Google Play. I use it all day long. I rave about it to friends. But as of a few weeks ago (the last iOS update) the app is pretty much worthless to me. Music stops play if I open another app (when it never did before). It’s glitchy as hell. PLEASE FIX so I don’t have to move to Apple Play!

It’s great on android but on iOS this app is junk you cannot listen to music you have downloaded on your iPhone so don’t download this app it is a waste of time and space

Cant play a song without stoppage. Even downloaded songs

I am using an iPhone 7 with the iOS 11.1 not a single issue. Listen to it about 9 hours a day no glitches, do use WiFi 90% of the time love this ap, love the service much better then Apple Music. Whole family loves it.

Unable to directly specify what bands or build your own station and I have to wade through tons of songs I don’t want to hear to build up the accuracy. Wasn’t worth the price of “free”. If there was way to do so, it wasn’t intuitive.

So listen, I LOVE google play music, and I’ve been using it since 2014, however since iOS 11, the app has been the worst pain of my life. Constantly glitching, music freezes all time, I can’t scroll through music without having to wait for the app to catch up to me, and same with typing. PLEASE PROVIDE A REAL UPDATE SOON OR I WILL HAVE TO LEAVE. I cannot believe I am paying for something that doesn’t work 3/4 of the time. Like I said, this was an amazing service... until recently.

First experience at using a streaming music service. Google play has an incredible amount of bugs it’s actually unbelievable. Wouldn’t suggest it to anybody - until the mess is sorted.

When Its playing a song and I get out of the app the song stops. Even my downloaded music.

The way Google Play stations work is absolutely terrible. If you dislike a song the dislike affects every station. For example if I am listening to heavy metal and a Rancid song comes on, I cannot dislike the song because then it won’t play on a punk station. And if you like an artist that artist will show up on completely unrelated stations. I get Pat the Bunny (a suicidal, heroin addicted, folk punk artist) on my station for the Doubleclicks (a band that has multiple songs about how much they love cats). If you want a good app for creating radio stations, go to Spotify. Seriously.

I use both iOS and Android, and this is my favorite streaming service. Ive tried Apple Music, Spotify, Groove Music, and Tidal, but this is still my favorite. I think its a better deal for $10 you get YouTube Red, Play Music Unlimited, you can use YouTube in the background with your screen off (which should be a default feature but isnt) Also you can use to control music playback by saying something like"play next Google music track" Siri commands work for fine for me at least. Also Ive yet to experience any crashes or bugs on my iPhone 8 with iOS 11.0.3.

Beautiful classical music with less annoying ads than Spotify ?

I love it

The app uploads many duplicates of your songs. No way to delete dupes. Other one at a time. Plus the other concerns the other reviewers are mentioning. Until this is fixed- choose another app.
