I understand it would be lofty to ask Google to put a little more time into their iOS app...But please Google! Make this app better. On old phones its absolutely abysmal; and even on newer devices it struggles, crashes, bugs out, and is overall a borderline unusable music client in iOS. I wish there was a 3rd party alternative like RadiantPlayer for Mac OS. Ive only been sticking around because GPM has all my music from the past, and bc my subscription is so cheap. Would love some new dedication to the iOS app. Just my two cents.

This app was wonderful until it stopped pairing with my google home.

In my opinion better than Apple Music because I get a subscription for this free because I have YouTube Red

I switched over because youtube red is included with no extra cost. Ad free Youtube is fantastic but this music app is horrid. The UI is so clunky. It’s slow with weird glitches. I can’t even go back when I’m in a playlist sometimes. Everything is hard to see. The songs load very slow causing me to skip two songs by accident most of the time. Even adding a song that I purchased from iTunes is a whole ordeal. Spotify had great playlists put together by their team. Without that, I’m having a hard time discovering new music quickly. I’m really missing my old music app which is a shame because I wanted this to work. I’ll give this another month but if I can’t work with this I’m going back.

It looks like the iOS app is versions behind android. But even on Android, I can’t sort playlists if I wanted to. There’s a whole workaround for a simple and basic feature. I can’t queue up any songs like in Spotify or it’ll add them to the end of my playlist which doesn’t make sense. Play next works but keeps pushing sounds back.

I like the app but freezes a lot and it’s not fun cause I am YouTube red subscriber and paying for it please fix it cause still freeze like crazy

Please add 3D Touch support and better album covers when playing... it’s downright awful! Only reason I have this is because I enjoy YouTube music and I watch a ton of YouTube videos which is included with play music... Please work to compete with Apple Music App

Love Google music. Selection is wide and great and the auto playlists are excellent. Just wish they had an apple watch app.

I can’t find a way to subscribe so I can use this for my google home so can someone help me

So far I’ve only noticed two songs that won’t play, no matter what I do I can’t get them to play even though other songs from one of the artists work fine. I’d appreciate you looking into this.

The app works great, like the app has everything that I need, but there are some problems. When I exit out of the app the app stops the music for about 2 seconds and starts again and the “Add to Queue” button does not add the song that I add to Queue. But I really like the app.

Scrolling while in a playlist to get the search bar is very glitchy and it’s hard to actually search. It rapidly shows up and then disappears. The slider that shows where the music is at sometimes doesn’t move at all. Scrolling in general is very glitchy. I love google play music, but there are little glitches here and there that are really bugging me.

This app was/is Not by any means comparable to songza. Worst song predictive algorithms. It just does too much is it a music, or video player? Make up your mind or give us back Songza. Hence I quit the premium pay.

I used this on Android forever and was going to continue on iPhone but since I got the x this has been extremely buggy. I start a song and it plays for 2 seconds pauses like it’s loading for roughly 30 seconds then starts. If I switch songs it does this and then shuts down. Come one google don’t make me go to Spotify.

Way to many ads, even for the free version. And talk about not ever letting you play any music because it says "no storage to play music" yet, I played music an hour ago, so I have to delete things off my phone for no reason. CHANGE or Im sticking to Spotify.

So I had an Android before and it worked amazing on my Samsung Galaxy s7, but there seems to just be a lack of seamless movements in the app. There are also some odd pages like a small menu bar and such, long story short if they ported the Android version over itd be great. A specific issue that bothers me is it doesnt let you adjust the order of your songs in your queue but you could on Android... Bummer but I love Google music so Im sticking with it!

This app is a very nice app to use for music and such. It would be nice to see an update on the UI which would include stabilization and PODCASTS! Please have a dedicated podcasts section. I also see the app skippy around and doesn’t play through CarPlay. Overall though its a nice app. Please though, Google, take advantage of this. Don’t leave us all behind. Make this app amazing!
